ProPlan Light Chicken & Rice and ProPlan Light Lamb & Rice are highly palatable, complete and balanced formulas with no colourants and no preservatives. They contain 50% less fat than standard adult formulas to support effective weight loss and for maintaining an ideal lean body condition.

After 12 weeks on a weight reduction programme the average weight loss was 16% in a variety of breeds. The average body condition score was 4-5 meaning that the dogs reached their ideal body weight within 3 months. During the weight reduction programme lean muscle mass was maintained. This is a key indicator of healthy weight loss and helps reduce the risk of subsequent weight gain.
